**Volunteers Needed**
The Arctic Education Foundation (AEF) is excited to announce its 2023 Ivalu Gala, which will be hosted on Friday, February 10th, 2023, at the Hotel Captain Cook.
One of the primary ways the Foundation raises funds is through our popular annual events, such as the Ivalu Gala in Anchorage and the Utqiaġvik Banquet Reception. We’re excited to see everyone and celebrate a worthy cause!
Volunteer positions include:
• Set Up*
• Data Entry*
• Registration
• Ushers
• Silent Auction & Packaging volunteers
Shy? Bring a friend. Volunteers will receive free admission to the event and a meal. This fundraiser will provide the opportunity to meet the AEF staff that make our student scholarships happen as well as see other ASRC leaders and Board Members. This is a great time to dust off your Atikluk or formal attire, socialize and help a worthy cause. Just a few hours of your time will help AEF sustain itself for another year of scholarships.
We hope you can join us this February at our 2023 Ivalu Gala and help AEF fulfill its mission to develop an educated, trained Iñupiaq workforce ready to take on any job.
