URGENT TRAVEL ADVISORY
Snowmachine travelers reported overflow by the Kobuk Lake beacon, today, Friday 11/25/22. Please take extreme caution while traveling especially during white out conditions, reported overflow and poor ice conditions.
Please file a trip report with a loved one or by calling the Search and Rescue Coordinator during regular business hours at 907-412-2038. Trip plans should include intended travel route, trails used, items that the traveler has with them, times of travel- departure and intended arrival time and who to call in case of an emergency or overdue.
