The Northwest Arctic Borough Fire Department just finished up another fire training and drills in the Community of Noatak. The training included three strong individuals from the Community of Noatak to be trained in fire tactics and control, and utilize best practices concerning structural firefighting. We also had a chance to talk with all our kids at the school to teach them about smoke alarms and provided smoke alarms during our community hot-dog cookout on the last day. Overall, it was a successful and fulfilling three days in Noatak. Thank you to all those that welcomed us and helped us along the way!
