Intern Tuesday: Zoe Okleasik

INTERN TUESDAY!

Zoe Okleasik is from Nome, Alaska. Her parents are Buddy Okleasik and the late Denise Oliver. Her mom's side of the family is from Golovin, Alaska and her dad's side of the family is from Teller, Alaska. She attended California Lutheran University for a year and is considering transferring to Fort Lewis in the fall or spring of 2022. She is hoping to attain her bachelor's degree in English with intentions of returning to Nome as a teacher. She will be working at the Head Start and with the Outreach Department. With this internship, she is hoping to gain confidence and become comfortable in the workplace environment. She enjoys spending her free time playing softball and being outdoors.
