Come and join us for another fun day of gardening at Pilgrim Hot Springs! We are looking for volunteers (any one day or multiple days) August 9-12. Help us weed and water, harvest produce, and build a greenhouse! We can only create our dream garden with YOUR help! Volunteers of 6 or more hours will be able to camp for free on site, enjoy the hot springs after working in the garden, and receive a free T-Shirt! (Suggested hours are 11am-5pm). Please keep in mind Pilgrim is a 2-2.5 hour drive from Nome. Snacks will be provided but volunteers should bring their own water & meals. Volunteers should arrange their own transportation and are encouraged to carpool! Volunteers will also need to provide their own camping equipment if they choose to stay overnight. Sign ups are limited to 8 people per day, so if you know you want to help please sign up ASAP! Volunteers will need to sign the Pilgrim access permit upon arrival (day pass fee is waived for volunteers).
