Rainbow Rock Hunt

Time to Look for the rainbows!

Join Kawerak's Child Advocacy Center in celebrating Children's Day and Pride Month by finding the hidden rainbow rocks around town. If you find a rainbow rock, text a selfie with the rock to 434-0518 or contact Kawerak to get in touch with Danielle Slingsby. If you find one rock, please allow others to find the rest! There will be about 20 hidden, and updates will be posted on Nome Post and Kawerak's Facebook page as well get them. Rock finders will get a prize! Rocks will be available for seeking for a week, June Saturday June 11- June 17th. 

AND!!!!

There will be a Paint and Grow event on Friday June 17th from 12pm-3pm in the City Hall Parking lot. Youth and families will be able to paint rocks, plant flowers, decorate flower pots and get your faces painted. Many thanks to the City of Nome for donating the space for this event, and the Child Advocacy Center staff for the event!
