Of the 535 people living in Nuiqsut city in 2020, 56.4 percent (302) were women and 43.6 percent (233) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Alaska News.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 53. In the 65 and over age range, there were 17 females and 28 males.
