NANA Regional Corporation issued the following announcement on March 19.
NANA was saddened to hear of the passing of Congressman Don Young, our country’s longest-serving member of Congress. Since his election in 1973, Don Young has represented Alaska’s interests with dedication and heart.
“Don Young deeply cared for Alaska and was a champion for us all,” said Piquk Linda Lee, NANA’s Board Chair. “Our prayers are with his wife, Anne, and his family in this difficult time.”
