Gambell School issued the following announcement on March 4.
Good Afternoon:
Earlier there was a fox that appeared to have blood on it and may have been rabid. It was seen near the school. The school has not had any information whether the fox has been killed. The administration highly recommends that parents pick up their children. If a community member has information on whether or not the fox has been killed, please call the school. Thanks!
