Of the 975 people living in Savoonga city in 2019, 45.7 percent (446) were women and 54.3 percent (529) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Alaska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 272-to-243. In the 65 and over age range, there were 26 females and 32 males.
