Census Bureau: More men than women in Shungnak city in 2019

Of the 292 people living in Shungnak city in 2019, 45.5 percent (133) were women and 54.5 percent (159) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the North Alaska News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 87-to-64. In the 65 and over age range, there were 15 females and 11 males.
