Hopson Middle School issued the following announcement on March 2.
I am extremely proud of how hard our Hopson Middle School Wolves did at the Tanana Invitational Wrestling Tournament! Their dedication to learning the sport, their commitment to attending practices, their tenacity on the mat, their determination to win and their sheer excitement for being a part of the program paid off! To the coaches who put in work, QUYANAQPAK! Thank you for investing in our youth and showing them how to play the sport. As a mom and parent, I truly appreciate your willingness to dedicate yourselves to them. Thank you for building up our youth and showing them all that they know! Way to go, Wolves!!! You guys rock! (By the way, prior to taking this picture I told them to put on their most serious Wrestlers face. I think they nailed it.
