Cities in Northwest Arctic Borough recorded unchanged number of lawyers with active licenses in June compared to previous month

Cities in Northwest Arctic Borough recorded no change in the number of lawyers with active licenses in June compared to the previous month, according to the Alaska Bar Association.

In total, there were five active legal licenses registered in cities in Northwest Arctic Borough in June.

All of these licenses were granted in Kotzebue.

Alaska has no law schools, yet it maintains a higher-than-average ratio of lawyers compared to the relatively low overall population. In Alaska, there are now 2,486 attorneys actively practicing law and a total of 4,160 lawyers licensed to practice in the state.
